Connection is Magic with Samson Shulman, is a top-rated podcast that sits at the intersection of mental health, creativity, pop-culture and the arts. The podcast is currently in the top 5% most globally shared on Spotify and has amassed 4+ million views on YouTube and growing rapidly!

Prior guests include: Russell Brand, Jack Black, Christian Clancy (Tyler, The Creator’s Manager), Ron Leshem (Original Creator of HBO’s “Euphoria”), Coodie & Chike (Emmy-Winning Directing Duo, Netflix’s Kanye West Documentary “Jeen-Yuhs”).

Our mission is to provide a safe space for artists and creatives to explore their mental well-being while breaking down the stigmas that often surround these conversations. As we expand, we are seeking a passionate, experienced Brand Partnerships Manager to join our team and help us build meaningful collaborations that align with our values and vision.

The Role:

We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Brand Partnerships Manager with a deep understanding of the podcast landscape, brand marketing, and mental health advocacy. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and securing brand partnerships that resonate with our audience of artists, creatives, and mental health enthusiasts. This is an opportunity to be part of something bigger than just business—it's about driving impactful conversations that can change lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Identify brands and organizations that align with our mission and values. Create compelling pitches that highlight the unique value our podcast brings to audiences and potential partners.
  • Pitch and Secure Brand Collaborations: Lead outreach efforts to brands, agencies, and potential sponsors. Present creative partnership ideas that drive mutual value and engagement.
  • Cultivate and Manage Relationships: Build strong, lasting relationships with brand partners, ensuring a seamless experience from pitch to execution.
  • Creative Campaign Development: Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and develop innovative branded content, sponsorship packages, and integrated marketing campaigns that authentically connect with our audience.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced: 3+ years of experience in brand partnerships, sales, or business development, preferably in the media, podcasting, or entertainment space.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You know how to craft pitches that speak directly to a brand's goals and values.
  • Creative and Strategic: You’re a natural at thinking outside the box and can envision unique collaboration opportunities that others might miss.
  • Passionate About Pop-Culture, Mental Health and the Arts: You understand the importance of mental health and well-being, especially in the creative community, and are excited to help amplify these essential conversations.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of closing deals and achieving targets. You’re motivated by the thrill of winning new business and making a tangible impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong background in business development, sales, and marketing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in databases, CRM software, and marketing tools
- Experience in fundraising, research, and event planning
- Ability to manage relationships and conduct strategic planning
