Connected vehicles and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology are poised to radically transform the transportation industry. Cirrus by Panasonic is a cloud-based data aggregation and insights IoT platform processing 200M transactions per day and bringing together the digital and physical worlds to make transportation safer and more efficient. Cirrus empowers traffic operators and fleet managers with real-time actionable information about vehicles, roadways, and infrastructure to positively impact the safety and mobility of vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians

The New Business Development Representative position is responsible for top-of-funnel sales prospecting. In this role, you will identify prospects who match our sales personas, outreach to those prospects, and cultivate initial intro or pitch meetings collaboratively with our Account Executive team. This position will report to the Head of Products and Sales.

Qualifications Education & Experience: Education: Combinations of experience and education which meet the competencies required for this role. 3-5 years B2B or B2G sales experience, preferably in digital tech, SaaS or related to transportation. Ideal candidates have experience from B2G, public sector, or government sales development and/or procurement in the transportation and mobility space. Proven history of consistently producing sales qualified leads. Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and customer facing communication skills. Skilled at managing a large volume of sequences/cadences and completing all tasks (Calls, emails, social messaging, text messaging) on time. Deep understanding of prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Salesforce. Excels at cross-functional communications across marketing, sales, and senior management. Data-driven, can work with a CRM system, understand KPIs and report on success while recommending optimization opportunities for the sales development process. Demonstrates drive and tenacity to maintain high levels of productivity; works with vigor, effectiveness, and determination; Seizes opportunities; Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully Other Requirements: Denver, CO or Remote. Travel to support sales, marketing, and customer events up to 15%.

Key Accountabilities: 90% - New Pipeline Development

  • Expertly execute sales prospecting activities including lead identification, outbound cold outreach, and meeting bookings within a $2B Government Transportation market sector in North America.
  • Break down a target market and organize a strategic approach to identifying the highest value accounts and contacts.
  • Work closely with the Account Executive team to engage prospects in meetings, demonstrations, and pitches and to coordinate handoff of sales-accepted leads.
  • Serve as the “eyes and ears” of CIRRUS in the marketplace with a knack for identifying opportunities and prioritizing outreach to the “right leads” to maximize sales accepted opportunities.
  • Contribute original content (e.g., videos, blogs, white papers, etc.) in support of CIRRUS marketing goals.
  • Provide product-market feedback to CIRRUS from customer interactions to help guide the product roadmap and sales direction.

10% - Event Based Outreach

  • Support the sales team with targeted outbound sales to priority prospects based on upcoming conferences, webinars, and/or other sales and marketing events.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
