The New Business Development Representative position is responsible for top-of-funnel sales prospecting. In this role, you will identify prospects who match our sales personas, outreach to those prospects, and cultivate initial intro or pitch meetings collaboratively with our Account Executive team. This position will report to the Head of Products and Sales.
Qualifications Education & Experience: Education: Combinations of experience and education which meet the competencies required for this role. 3-5 years B2B or B2G sales experience, preferably in digital tech, SaaS or related to transportation. Ideal candidates have experience from B2G, public sector, or government sales development and/or procurement in the transportation and mobility space. Proven history of consistently producing sales qualified leads. Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and customer facing communication skills. Skilled at managing a large volume of sequences/cadences and completing all tasks (Calls, emails, social messaging, text messaging) on time. Deep understanding of prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Salesforce. Excels at cross-functional communications across marketing, sales, and senior management. Data-driven, can work with a CRM system, understand KPIs and report on success while recommending optimization opportunities for the sales development process. Demonstrates drive and tenacity to maintain high levels of productivity; works with vigor, effectiveness, and determination; Seizes opportunities; Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully Other Requirements: Denver, CO or Remote. Travel to support sales, marketing, and customer events up to 15%.
