Our current executive and strategic advisory team are comprised of project management experts, Project Management Institute members and volunteers, career consultants, and technical program executives.

About The Opportunity

We are experiencing rapid company growth on our supply side and are on the hunt (Cheetah pun intended) for an experienced, passionate executive to join our C-Suite as a Co-Founder and Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).

This is a part time, equity and commission-based role (25 hours per week). This role reports directly to our CEO.

What You’ll Do (The Role)

  • Define TalentCheetah’s business development and sales strategic plan for the demand side of our marketplace (hiring companies), leveraging our existing market validation data, customer insights, and sales/marketing strategies
  • Negotiate new partnerships and client contracts to promote business growth for the demand side of our marketplace
  • Define and manage our sales forecast and pipeline
  • Facilitate business growth by directly engaging with targeted new client and business partner prospects, leveraging your existing network of professional contacts
  • Measure results and iterate on business development and sales goals with a keen eye towards driving metrics and KPIs that matter (which you will define and own)
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with prospective customers and business partners to navigate them through our sales funnel
  • Drive prospects through to contract close (including identifying new customers and markets, developing approaches to the market, identifying prospects, etc.)
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development and sales strategies with overall organizational objectives
  • Be a visionary in the definition, ongoing maintenance, and successful execution of our business development and sales strategy and roadmap
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation and prospective partnerships within new market segments
  • Evangelize TalentCheetah on social media, at in-person events, virtual conferences, etc.
  • As a Founding team member, represent TalentCheetah on investor calls, client deals, PR and marketing promotions

Who You Are (Qualifications) (Don't have all? Apply anyway!!!)

  • 10+ years successful track record in business development and sales in the U.S. temporary staffing and/or consulting industry, preferably with a focus on placing technical talent (project and program management a plus) and selling into the SMB technology/ IT segment
  • Proven experience in managing business development and sales activities, including identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years preparing and presenting business development and sales strategy and roadmaps to C-Suite Executives
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities to develop long-term growth strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support quantitative and data-driven decision making
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • U.S. citizen residing in the U.S.

Nice to Have

· Serial technology or SaaS entrepreneur with a successful exit

· Biz Dev experience with a two-sided talent marketplace / talent platform solution

· 5+ years’ work experience as a project / program / portfolio manager (hands-on and strategic)

· Experience using HubSpot CRM, Google Workspace, MS Office Suite

· PMP Certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
