We work closely with craft producers to curate a diverse portfolio of high-quality products that cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. As part of our expansion efforts, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team as a Commission-Based Craft Sales Representative.

Job Description:

As a Commission-Based Craft Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and increasing brand awareness of our craft beer portfolio within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and other potential customers, while also identifying new business opportunities to grow our market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by researching potential customers, attending industry events, and networking within the craft beer community.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging sales presentations to key decision-makers, highlighting the unique characteristics and flavors of our craft beer offerings.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster loyalty and drive repeat business. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on beer selection, promotions, and marketing support.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure profitable deals and achieve sales targets. Close sales efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about craft beer trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using our CRM system. Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the craft beverage industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Passion for craft products and strong knowledge of different styles, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to exceed sales targets and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and maximizing productivity.

Compensation:

This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. In addition to competitive commission rates, 3 Mavins' Distribution may offer performance-based incentives and bonuses based on achieving sales targets and objectives.
