We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Director of Business Development to promote and sell our MTSS management SaaS.

**Position Overview:**

As a Regional Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our educational software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and connect with potential customers, understand their needs, and present our software as the ideal solution. You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, building and maintaining relationships, and achieving sales targets.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Identify and research educational institutions and school districts.

- Generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and referrals.

- Contact district leaders through email and cold call to determine their need for our product.

- Conduct engaging online presentations and demonstrations of our educational software to prospective clients.

- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders in the education sector.

- Negotiate terms and close deals with prospective clients.

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities and contracts.

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and educational technology developments.

- Provide market feedback to improve product offerings.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Experience with a CRM solution / commitment to CRM hygiene

- Familiarity with the educational sector -- including schools, districts, and educational professionals -- is preferred.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

- Proficient in using digital tools and platforms for sales and communication.

- A bachelor's degree in education, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

**Compensation:**

This is a 1099 freelance position, and compensation will be commission-based. You will earn a competitive commission on each successful sale. The more you sell, the more you earn.
