We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Sales Specialist to promote and expand the reach of our Computer Science Curriculum and Platform across the United States. The ideal candidate is a teacher with sales experience, preferably with a background in technology or computer science. This role involves a mix of direct sales, relationship management, product advocacy, and providing valuable feedback for product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Lead Generation:
- Identify, contact, and engage potential leads within schools, districts, and educational organizations.
- Conduct cold calls, follow-up calls, and schedule meetings with key decision-makers.
- Present and promote Qubits’ curriculum and platform through in-person and online presentations.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Understand the needs of potential clients and tailor presentations to meet those needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track all activities in a CRM system.
- Product Promotion and Demonstrations:
- Conduct product demonstrations online and in person, highlighting the benefits and features of Qubits.
- Attend educational conferences, workshops, and events to promote Qubits’ offerings.
- Prepare and deliver presentations at these events, representing Qubits in a professional manner.
- Travel and On-Site Visits:
- Travel as needed to meet with potential clients, attend events, and provide on-site demonstrations.
- Visit schools and districts to present the Qubits curriculum and establish partnerships.
- Feedback and Product Improvement:
- Gather feedback from clients and prospects regarding the curriculum and platform.
- Communicate feedback to the product development team to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching, with a strong understanding of K-12 education.
- Sales experience, preferably in the education or technology sectors.
- Strong background or interest in computer science and technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the U.S. as needed.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Passionate about education and technology, with a drive to make an impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- Experience in curriculum development or educational technology.
- Established network within the U.S. K-12 educational sector.
