Company Overview:
We are a growing asset-based carrier/trucking company seeking an ambitious and results-driven Logistics Sales Representative to help secure direct shipper contracts. As an integral part of our team, you will focus on reaching out to potential clients, nurturing relationships, and closing deals that bring in new business. This is a part-time, results-oriented role aimed at producing measurable outcomes quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify and research potential direct shippers in need of transportation services, focusing on industries that require freight movement.
- Cold Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers at potential shipper companies.
- Sales Strategy: Develop tailored pitches and value propositions for shippers, demonstrating how our trucking services align with their needs.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms and secure contracts, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term collaboration.
- Reporting: Provide weekly updates on progress, including leads generated, contracts in negotiation, and contracts won.
Performance Expectations:
- Secure at least one contract by the end of the 3-month trial period.
- Regular communication of strategies, progress, and results.
- Be proactive and efficient in securing meetings, quotes, and opportunities.
Compensation:
- $15 per hour for 2-3 hours per day, 4 days per week.
- 8% commission on the gross revenue generated from any contracts secured during your tenure.
Contract Duration: 3-Month Probationary Period (with potential for extension based on performance)
