Position Details

Job Title: Sales Contractor for E-Commerce Shoe Brand

Are you passionate about sales, fashion, and connecting customers with fabulous products? We’re looking for a dynamic, driven Sales Contractor to help increase sales for our e-commerce shoe brand and expand a “small batch” wholesale reach. This is a flexible, commission-based role perfect for an independent go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and connect with potential clients, including retailers, boutiques, and influencers. Adding new clients to email list and social channels.
  • Cold Calling & Emailing: Engage with prospects to introduce our brand and secure sales opportunities… as well as collaboration opportunities to cross promote similar audiences and email lists.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, providing top-tier service and support. Continue engaging with customers directly on Instagram through Direct Messaging and email to generate individual sales and reoccurring purchases.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the creative AND ad team to refine sales pitches and strategies tailored to target audiences. Basic understanding ChatGPT to help with copy and creative sales content. Basic understanding of how to create sales-driven reels for Instagram and TikTok (must know how to film basic content, edit clips, add catchy audio, and engage with audience).
  • Market Research: Stay on top of trends in the fashion and footwear industry, identifying new sales opportunities and key markets. Keep reference list of content concepts that could work for our brand and be able to execute idea independently of creative teams involvement. We require full autonomy in sales-driven content making.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and customer feedback.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Strong track record of sales success, preferably in fashion, footwear, or e-commerce.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Confident in cold calling, emailing, and networking with a range of clients.
  • Negotiation & Closing Skills: Ability to handle objections, negotiate deals, and close sales effectively.
  • Familiarity with E-Commerce Platforms: Basic understanding of e-commerce processes, including inventory management and online sales (Shopify). Also basic skills in ChapGPT and Canva.
  • Social Media Savvy: Experience leveraging social media platforms for sales and brand promotion. Need to be able to independently create sales-driven content and execute reels/ads for IG and TikTok.
  • Independent & Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and meet targets.
  • Basic Tech Skills: Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, email marketing software, and other sales-related applications.
  • Fashion-Focused: An eye for fashion trends and a passion for footwear.

Compensation:

  • Commission-based with competitive earning potential.
  • Flexible hours and remote work.
