Job Overview: Do you have experience and passion for selling Software as a Service (SaaS) products to schools and school districts?As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue by selling our SaaS platform to educational institutions. You will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our customer base, identifying new sales opportunities, and collaborating closely with the leadership team to achieve targets. Your consultative selling approach will be essential in understanding customer needs and showcasing the value of EagleEyED™ as a solution for enhancing school safety and security.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customers and target segments within the education sector.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Engage with prospects and customers to understand their safety challenges, needs, and objectives.
- Present and demonstrate the EagleEyED™ platform to key decision-makers, tailoring the presentation to address each customer's unique requirements.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and pricing strategies that align with the customer's budget and expectations.
- Negotiate contract terms and close deals, securing long-term partnerships with educational institutions.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to the sales management team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the education industry, safety regulations, and competitor offerings to effectively position EagleEyED™ in the market.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the EagleEyED™ platform and expand the company's presence in the education sector.
Qualifications:
- REQUIREMENT: Proven track record of success as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role, required within the education (K12, Early Childhood and Higher Education) industry.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer pain points and present solutions effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Relationship-oriented mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and sales activities.
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in promoting safer school environments.
