Position Details

42DM is a change-driven B2B marketing agency for tech businesses. We generate high-quality leads and supercharge our Customers' sales pipelines. Our core offerings are marketing strategy development, MarTech expertise, ABM development and engaging inbound marketing.

The Business Development Executive is crucial in steering the expansion of our organization's North American operations. We seek a sales professional who embodies the values of Adaptiveness, Empathy, and Ownership, which are central to the ethos of 42DM.

Success In This Role

Success in this role requires a person with a proven ability to open and nurture new channels for selling 42DM’s services, develop and qualify opportunities to grow the business, and excel in positioning, presenting, and negotiating win-win relationships. Additionally, they must implement best practices in all aspects of the sales process, including outreach, CRM maintenance, reporting, and lead nurturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a sales strategy focused on new customer acquisition in North America;
  • Research and contact prospective clients. Build relationships with prospects and nurture opportunities through all phases of the sales process;
  • Create and manage all sales-related communication;
  • Act as point of contact for North American sales-related interests;
  • Guide and be accountable for responses to inbound sales opportunities and all communication relevant to those opportunities;
  • Create new opportunities to pitch relevant prospects;
  • Collaborate with 42DM’s leadership and international sales staff to plan sales tactics and develop a strategy to bring in new customers;
  • Work with 42DM’s creative team to develop sales materials for each phase of the sales process;
  • Provide regular feedback to 42DM’s leadership on lead nurturing progress, pending opportunities, and lost opportunities;
  • Keep updated with key trends and Customers’ views and attitudes as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing business development experience;
  • Experience selling to growth-stage or enterprise-level customers;
  • Understanding of digital marketing agencies and offerings;
  • Digitally-savvy, self-driven and autonomous;
  • Highly organized, maintaining methodical efficiency in managing numerous leads and follow-ups;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with active listening being paramount in our sales approach;
  • Utilizing sales automation tools efficiently, such as Hubspot, to streamline and optimize the sales cycle;
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% for business opportunities and industry events.
