Role Overview:

As a Business Development Representative, you are the engine of our growth, tasked with the exciting challenge of identifying and nurturing leads to broaden our client base. This role is a unique blend of strategy, creativity, and hustle, offering you a comprehensive view of the sales process from inception to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Generate new business opportunities through a mix of cold-calling, LinkedIn and email prospecting, and other innovative outreach strategies.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through relentless pursuit and strategic engagement.
  • Prospect Engagement: Connect with potential clients to deeply understand their needs and articulate how Propel's solutions can drive their success.
  • Collaboration: Work in tandem with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging and product offerings based on market feedback.
  • Presentation and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing Propel's value proposition.
  • Networking: Engage in both in-person and online networking, representing Propel at industry events, webinars, and forums.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an innate ability to persuade and inspire.
  • Robust networking skills, comfortable with both in-person and online environments.
  • A proactive learner, eager to absorb information rapidly and apply it effectively.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup landscape.

  • The first year remuneration including Fixed + Commission is expected to be $70,000+
