We’re looking for a business development lead to bring their skillsets in sales and account management while working as a fully remote contract employee. This role is the face and voice of the company through emails, calls, and in-person meetings. It requires a high level of professionalism, people skills, accountability, and follow-through.
You are the right person for this role if you are a great relationship builder, proactive, motivated, organized, and responsible and able to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.
Your focus is engaging with our prospects and positioning our civil engineering solutions so that we can gain new customers and position Vahalo as the partner of choice for the infrastructure/engineering industry.
If you’ve had previous business development experience, or are a strong, confident communicator, this would be a great way to build or expand your sales experience in one of the fastest growing industries.

Business Development Specialist Duties to include but not limited to:
· Build relationships with potential clients
· Develop our existing contact list through email, phone and social medial outreach activities.
· Build and maintain existing client relationships
· Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
· Assist with the creation and maintenance of a variety of marketing content
· Create and edit email sequence content that is sent out regularly to prospects
· Perform and assign follow up tasks to appropriate team members related to email responses
· Organize and maintain marketing data in HubSpot CRM
· Create and edit short system demonstration videos for email YouTube and Linked-In messaging.
· Create and edit Power Point presentations
· Participate in and lead product presentations via web video or in-person.
· Assist with generation of new email campaigns.
Requirements:
· Great interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to build repour/relationship quickly over the phone.
· Ability to convey passion and enthusiasm
· Excellent phone voice
· Some college in marketing or sales preferred
· Highly organized
· Some experience in the engineering, construction inspection and materials testing field is helpful but not mandatory.

Rate: Modest Base Hourly + Very Generous Commissions + Profit Sharing Bonus (Direct Proportional and Merit Based)
