About the Team
The Inside Sales Team is responsible for selling group, suite, and season tickets at Oracle Park by executing targeted outbound sales campaigns and building relationships with prospects. They are also responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients in support of their game day experience. About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven high volume Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts through outbound and inbound sales activities, contributing to the growth of our group sales, premium hospitality and season ticket programs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of calls (80-100) and emails, with the goal of achieving and exceeding sales targets. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, facilitating meetings, handling objections, closing, and servicing accounts after the sale is made. This role is a part-time, remote position, with potential for in-office work if you are local to the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media. Identify and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage Sales Cycle: Conduct needs assessments, present product solutions, and handle objections. Guide prospects through the sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize account value.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Track and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer service, and product development teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development opportunities to improve sales skills and product knowledge. Provide feedback to management on ways to improve the sales process.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in a high-volume sales and/or service environment. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients in order to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Sales Skills: Strong persuasion and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated with a desire to have a successful career in the field of sports sales.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.

At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly rate for this position will be $
25.00 / hour plus commissions.

Company Details

These Giants cast a big shadow over the ball diamond. San Francisco Baseball Associates owns and operates Major League Baseball franchise the San Francisco Giants. Formed by John Day and Jim Mutrie as the New York Gothams in 1883 (the Giants moniker was applied two years later), the team has won 21 National League pennants and six World Series titles, the last in 2010. Horace Stoneham moved the team to the Bay Area in 1958. San Francisco's roster has included such Hall of Fame players as Willie Mays, Mel Ott, and Gaylord Perry. The team plays host at AT&T Park near downtown San Francisco. Bill Neukom took over as managing general partner from Peter Magowan in 2008. The Giants ended a playoff drought by winning the National League pennant in 2010, beating the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS to advance to a World Series engagement with the Texas Rangers. San Francisco made quick work of the American League champions, dispatching the Rangers convincingly (four games to one) and winning the franchise's first World Series championship since 1954 (when the team was still in New York). The team brought in Bruce Bochy as manager for the 2007 season, replacing Felipe Alou after four years. Bochy's first season commanding the dugout was also the final season for player Barry Bonds. One of more popular, and controversial, Giants players the past several years, Bonds set the single season home run record (73) in 2001 and broke Hank Aaron's record of 755 career homers in 2007. However, allegations that Bonds had used steroids clouded his achievements on the field; the Giants released the star outfielder after the 2007 season. Bochy was still in charge of the team during the memorable championship run in 2010. Magowan, who led an investment group to purchase the Giants in 1993, retired from baseball ownership at the conclusion of the 2008 season. He famously led the construction of the team's new ballpark, originally named Pacific Bell Park, without the aid of public funds. The grandson of Merrill Lynch co-founder Charles Merrill, Magowan served as chairman of grocery store chain Safeway prior to acquiring control of the Giants.
