GIS Telemarketer

Location: United States – Remote- work from home in the United States

Permanent: Full time/Part-time

Introduction to the role

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a global leading Enterprise information technology firm. The Company are key providers of specialist IT consulting, development, training, and support services to a wide range of clients in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.

We have an exciting opportunity in the United States for a motivated and dynamic IT Telemarketer to join our sales team. The IT Telemarketer will be responsible for generating leads, making outbound calls to potential customers, and setting appointments for the sales team. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a good understanding of IT products and services, and a passion for achieving sales targets. Knowledge in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers and markets for GIS products and services.
  • Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce IT products and services.
  • Present product information clearly and persuasively to generate interest and secure appointments for the sales team.
  • Schedule qualified appointments and follow up with the sales team to ensure leads are pursued.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Customer Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with potential customers by understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.

Handle objections and provide accurate information to address customer queries and concerns.

Assist the sales team with follow-up activities to convert leads into sales.

Required skills:

  • Previous experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or a related role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Prior experience in an IT Telemarketer role
  • IT /GIS Industry experience (preferred)
