Position: Independent Sales Representative

Pay: Residual Commission

Location: United States

Position Overview:

As an Independent Sales Rep, your primary responsibility will be to introduce our SaaS product to key decision-makers within businesses. The successful candidate will engage potential clients, articulate the value proposition of our product, and persuade them to either schedule a live demo with our team or watch a self-paced demo.

Key Responsibilities For Master Sales Rep:

  • Schedule & Perform Demo: Demos are approximately 15 min. of software navigation and 15 min. answering questions. We also have self-paced video demos. In these demos you will highlight key facts of the company:
  • Most background checks are performed in less than 24 hrs
  • We custom build all background check packages
  • We usually beat the competition’s price by 20-40%
  • Live, U.S.-based customer support
  • Follow-Up As Needed: You determine if a follow up is warranted.
  • Time Management: Work on your own time and focus on high converting clients. YOU HAVE A LIFE AND WE DO NOT OWN YOU.

What you WILL NOT do as an Independent Sales Rep:

  • No account management after the prospect becomes a client. WE HAVE A TEAM FOR THAT.
  • No technical assistance. WE HAVE A TEAM FOR THAT.
  • No CRM to maintain. WE HAVE A TEAM FOR THAT.
  • Work on your own time and focus on high converting clients. YOU HAVE A LIFE AND WE DO NOT OWN YOU.


  • Residual commissions on all newly acquired accounts for the duration of your 1099 employment
  • Unlimited time off (you’re a true 1099 so we cannot control your schedule)
  • 3 months of Severance Pay is offered to our 1099 contractors after 12 months of service


  • You can work anywhere in the United States (All 50 States).
  • Proven experience in business-to-business sales or strong outside sales background.
  • Prior success in introducing SaaS or technology solutions is a plus.
  • Existing book of business or contacts for immediate engagement are highly desirable.

2 Stage Interview Process - (if selected):

  • No “Google” style or “Tech” style questions will be asked.
  • Expect up to a 1 hour conversation with an experienced sales manager.
  • Candidates who progress to the second interview can expect up to another 1 hour conversation with various staff.
  • A hiring decision will be made within 1 week of the 2nd interview.
