About us

52 Podcasts (public website in the making) is a new marketing agency specializing in a highly customized done-for-you content service. Our flagship service, '52 Podcasts,' offers a not-seen-before solution for businesses looking to expand their audience and sales channels, and establish their brand authority - to excell at lead generation, organic traffic, keyword ranking, and industry authority.

With 52 Podcasts, clients receive a full year of weekly multi-media content packages, containing end-to-end podcast production, blog posts, tweets, and other social media content.

What’s next? 52 Pods started as an agency but will transition into a SaaS solution for highly customized and high-quality content creation and publishing when our content engine has been refined properly.

With a goal of growing our client roster to 25 and beyond, and to establish a solid sales strategy, processes, and client pipeline driving repetitive results and revenue, we’re looking for a Sales Director to join our growing team and lead these efforts.

52 Podcasts is a portfolio company of Celestial Group, a boutique private equity firm.

Role Overview:

As the Sales Director at 52 Podcasts, you will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, responsible for crafting and executing the vision that will elevate our agency's market presence and client base. Your experience in agency, SaaS, or B2B sales will be instrumental in establishing and refining repeatable sales processes, building and leading dynamic sales teams, creating compelling sales collateral, and ultimately ensuring consistent growth through a predictable sales pipeline. You will enter a relatively new business, with the first handful of clients being onboarded as of this writing, and Account Managers, fulfillment teams, and executive support in place, ready to fulfil and support. The business is highly process-centered, allowing the Sales Director to focus exclusively on sales and lead generation.

The objective for the Sales Director will be to 1) find and onboard 25 new clients, 2) establish repetitive sales systems, processes, and team, 3) assist in strategic decisions and direction for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our business goals and values.
  • Identify and target potential clients, utilizing your extensive network, market research, and best-in-class tools and technolgoy to establish a robust client pipeline.
  • Lead by example by taking ownership of end-to-end sales processes, from initial outreach to closing deals.
  • Craft persuasive sales documents, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of messaging.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, nurturing their skills and providing strategic guidance.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team effectiveness and track progress.
  • Regularly analyze sales data, market trends, and client feedback to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Establish budgets and allocate resources to expand the sales team and enhance sales operations.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to contribute to overall business growth and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in agency, SaaS, or B2B sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, content creation, or related digital marketing services, with the ability to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Experience building and scaling sales processes from the ground up, resulting in repeatable and predictable revenue generation.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a history of building and motivating successful sales teams.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling sales collateral, presentations, and demo materials.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable to a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
