Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the commercial sector.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand commercial client base.
2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and target potential commercial clients, building a robust pipeline of prospects.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing company's capabilities and solutions.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth:
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals through effective business development activities.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with new and existing clients.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the technical and delivery teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with service offerings and delivery capabilities.
Provide market feedback to internal teams to inform product development and service enhancements.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including client interactions, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on commercial clients.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
Strong understanding of IT services and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and company events.
