Position Details

The Service Contract Inside Sales Specialist (SCSS) sells product and software service to expand the client base of Gilbarco’s service support solutions. This role requires heavy phone soliciting and tenacious follow up. A successful candidate will have excellent organization and customer service skills, with an exceptional attention to detail. This role is responsible for the enrollment of service customers. This position is an individual contributor role within the Service organization.

What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)

Onboarding (85%):

  • Facilitates new customer service enrollment. Work cross-functionally to ensure a positive onboarding experience.

  • Leverages creative approaches with potential customers to ensure they recognize and understand the value-add of service products.

  • Provides quotes for service contracts and calculating fees for reinstatement of services.

  • Utilizes multiple service platforms for customer onboarding; including cloud based, Oracle, Adobe Sign, and internal service software.

  • Understands the different customer account structures and legal documentation required to establish new accounts. Validates all required customer documentation and performs data entry.

  • Manages, tracks, and escalates key milestones and deliverables to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Act on logistical changes and customer support needs in real time.

  • Key stakeholder and contributor to Onboarding Data Integrity and Quality.

  • Work on ad-hoc projects as needed and as assigned by his/her supervisor.

  • Data Gathering and Reporting (15%):

  • Log requests for contracts through contract execution.

  • Daily Management Reporting for Service Enrollment delivery and revenue impact.

The base compensation range for this position is $17.30 to $23.55 per hour Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Candidate should have prior hands-on knowledge of client onboarding.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced SaaS environment and having the ability to handle multiple onboarding accounts simultaneously.

  • Strong sense of customer service and engagement

  • High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain an enthusiastic, service-oriented attitude under pressure.

  • Ability to successfully influence many different groups and individuals to deliver high quality and timely results.

  • Experience developing process improvement, leveraging both best practices (internal and external) critical thinking, as well as identifying areas for improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and interpret reports and graph/statistics desired.

  • Excellent analytical skills along with strong working experience with Microsoft applications, with a particular strength in Access and Excel.
