- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Strong understanding of technical sales processes, terminology and tools

- Previous experience and familiarity with the fashion industry or retail. Its sales cycles, customer base, and players in the market

- Established relationships within the industry

- Bonus - Track record of bringing sales from <25k MRR to 100k+ MRR in 12 months period

- Bonus - Previous experience with SaaS

- Developing and executing sales strategies

What you’ll be doing...

As our Lead Inside Sales for SMB you will be responsible for generating sales to companies within their territory that have 1-399+ total fleet vehicles as well as identifying new prospects in the market through cold calling and networking. This position requires a high degree of business acumen and communication skills to close sales deals.

Responsibilities associated with the position include:

  • Generating and prospecting accounts which will be supported by inbound activity and Business Development activity.
  • Presenting product capabilities through web-based demonstrations setup by own appointments.
  • Prioritizing activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals with an emphasis on managing personal time, productivity, and accurate forecasting.
  • Following-up on proposals and negotiating contracts with prospective customers in collaboration with the Managing Partner.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with clients from initial contact through close of sale.
  • Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by Verizon Connect and awareness of the competition.
  • Working with the Managing Partner to help on board and train new hires as needed.
  • Leadership point of contact for team needs where needed
  • Completing all required documentation and reporting including call and meeting activity, forecasting and bids and proposals within assigned territory using Salesforce.

You’ll need to have:

  • Five or more years of relevant work experience
  • Three or more years of B2B inside sales experience preferred
  • Ability to respond with a sense of urgency in a sales-driven culture
  • Competitive personality with a track record of overachieving
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Receptiveness to feedback, a willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement
  • Ability to be a resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Requires a history of displaying leadership qualities

  • A degree
  • Three or more years of B2B inside sales experience

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $54,000.00 and $100,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
